Let’s headstart with Dell. The E2421HN model offers a 24 inch IPS display and full HD resolution. It comes with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 6bit+FRC color panel, meaning it can render decent contrast and colors in the range of 8-bit gamut. The monitor reproduces crispier pictures with impressive sharpness and has brighter colors. Since it features 250 nits of brightness, you won’t face problems seeing the screen in a moderately lit room.

That said, the monitor comes with a standard speed profile; 60Hz refresh rate & 8ms response time(which is on the lower side). It is an ideal monitor for office work and home use. I would not recommend this monitor for gaming and esports.

It comes with HDMI & VGA for connectivity and lacks any DisplayPort and USB ports.

Coming to the build quality, the monitor has a “not so exciting” typical Dell build. It has a mini-bezel frame with a thick back and stands that only supports tilting. There is an absence of height adjustment.

All in all, if you are looking for an office solution or want a home monitor which you can also use to watch movies, then Dell E2421HN will not disappoint you.

Are you into modern designs? Maybe the stylish look is vital to you. Well, then, how about the AOC 24B2XH? This 21.5 inches Taiwanese LCD is undoubtedly one of the most sophisticated monitors out there under 10k. The 3-Way bezel-less attire and premium stabilizing stand give it quite an attractive look.

The AOC employs a modern AH-IPS panel and 1080p full HD resolution that delivers near to accurate colors and sharper pictures thanks to high pixel density. Since it boasts an IPS panel the viewing angles are wider to the range of 178/178-degree. The monitor comes with flicker-free technology that reduces strain and eye fatigue when used for longer durations.

This monitor is best for office work, movies, photo-editing like things, for home use and places with bright-environment like near window.

However, due to the low response rate, it’s not ideal for games where you need a quick fast response rate from your display.

  • Beautiful frameless designnImpressive color reproductionnGood enough brightnessn
  • The response time is high so its not good for gamingnThe stand is not sturdy enough, it’s wobblyn

8. ASUS 21.5 inch – gaming monitor under 10k

  • 16.5M color display
  • 1ms of response & 75Hz refresh numbers
  • Flicker-free & blue light filter
  • HDMI, VGA ports for connectivity
  • 3Y Warranty
  • Decent gaming monitor

Next on the list is the all-new ASUS VP228H monitor. The 21.5-inch monitor is powered by a TN panel (known for decent blacks) and offers a 1080p resolution. It can render a sharper picture with impressive contrast and colors up to the range of 16.5 million which, however, will look a little saturated.

The monitor features a flicker-free, blue light filtering tech to ensure the least strain and pain to your eyes when you’re playing/using for longer durations.

Although the monitor has a standard-looking profile, that gap is filled with performance. This monitor has a fanatic 75Hz refresh rate topped off with 1ms of (GTG) response rate for a breathtaking fluid gaming experience.

No worries if you don’t have external speakers yet. This value for money monitor comes with 1.5 watts stereo speakers in-built which can keep your essential audio requirements met.

Technically, the ASUS VP228H is the monitor with over-the-top gaming performance. Perhaps the best gaming monitor under 10000. But only if your needs are for graphics design, it might not be the right choice for you.

Next up is the monitor from Lenovo. The L22E monitor features a near-edgeless, aka 2mm thin-bezel, and glossy black construction. It offers quite impressive display features. With 21.5 inches Full HD display, power-packed with a VA panel, it generates pictures with better colors and viewing angles (178/178-degree) compared to a TN panel-based display.

One of the highlight features of Lenovo L22E is its AMD FreeSync support. The AMD chipset inside the monitor helps fight ghosting and screen tearing while playing esport games. But remember, it’s the best monitor under 10,000 for gaming only if you have an AMD Radeon system.

The Lenovo L22E is one of the most aspiring monitors with natural color and high pixel density. Its faster response rate and AMD FreeSync together make it a perfect fit for high-performance gaming, and entertainment.

The Acer QG221Q offers excellent specifications for gaming. With a 75Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, the gaming feels more fluid and battles ghosting and screen tearing. It gives a grip and competitive advantage over your opponent – thanks to AMD FreeSync and fast response. If you are planning to buy this monitor for gaming, then just make sure you have an AMD graphics card.

Coming to the display, the model offers a 22-inch screen backed with a VA panel and full HD resolution. It renders better colors compared to a TN panel and slightly underperforms compared to IPS. Still, you will enjoy immersive colors and brighter output. It boasts features like flicker-free output and a blue light filter, reducing eye strain and fatigue due to extensive screen usage. Acer QG221Q comes with dual HDMI and a single VGA port setup for connectivity.

With that said, the monitor has thin bezels and a comparatively thick backside. The stand provides enough stability, but it supports tilt-only adjustment and lacks any height ergonomics.

It also has a standard 60Hz frequency and 4ms of response time that hones all gaming players (Check out more curved monitors like this here.).

This Samsung installment comes with an exclusive curved VA panel that boasts superior picture quality. It is the only display under 10,000 (at the time of writing) that features a curved screen.

The display goes furious when used with the AMD system and gives you an additional frame boost making the images look fluid.

This monitor is suitable for work, movies, and other entertainment purposes. And since it has an audio-out port, you can also use it as a monitor+TV. The curved design keeps the eye strain at bay and gives you an immersive experience. It is a great option to try out curved screen technology.

It is a relatively drawback-free monitor. But I would like to warn you that some people do not find the curved screen a pleasing experience.

HP 22ES is one of my favorites without a doubt. I love the way it looks. It’s so stylish and an attractive thin profile just shines your eye. And that’s probably why it’s also an amazon choice monitor with over 900 reviews having 4+ ratings.
But apart from just looks the monitor also has some seriously good performance scores.

First off, the Monitor features the 21.5 inch IPS panel with 1080p FHD resolution and 6bit+FRC tech which means it can render sharper pictures with more natural and less boosted colors in the range of 16.5 million gamut range. The dynamic contrast and aspect ratio are 1M:1 and 16:9 respectively. And last but not least, the screen is coated with an Anti-glare+blue light filter to take care of your eye health.

That said, the speed profile boasts a standard 60Hz refresh rate, topped with 7ms (slower side) response time which is sufficient for day-to-day tasks, and some gaming on the side. With AMD FreeSync support, you can definitely enjoy the extra boost in frame rate.

The HP 22FW is a monitor of fair squire features. It is an excellent option for office use, photo editing, programming, entertainment, and even for some gaming. The monitor is substantially bright, so it’s perfect for a super-lit environment near the window.

The thing that is wrong with this monitor is the narrow tilt range, and you can only move the screen a little up and down. So if you don’t have a proper desk setup, then this might be an issue. There is no height or pivotal ergonomics.

  • Attractive slick design with robust standnExcellent color reproductionnAnti-glare displaynBest for editing professionals
  • No height adjustment nHigh response rate makes it unsuitable for gamingnInbuilt speakers are useless

It comes with AMD FreeSync, so if you have an AMD graphics card, you can enjoy a performance boost. For connectivity, the monitor comes with HDMI and VGA ports. Meet the gaming display. The LG 22MK400H is a proper gaming monitor for first-person shooters and online esports players. It’s the best in the starter budget segment. On its side are 75Hz superior refresh rate and 1ms furious response time, which renders sheer gaming smoothness and gives you an edge over your online competitor. The monitor is backed with AMD FreeSync technology, so you can quickly and conveniently achieve that high frame rate and prevent screen tearing and ghosting.

That said, the monitor has a 22″ TN panel based display with 1080p full HD resolution. It offers a high pixel density, so you can expect sharper pictures with more details. Since it’s a TN panel, the colors will look a little saturated but render a decent contrast ratio. The blacks will look darker and not grey. It comes with add-on gaming features like a Black stabilizer and Dynamic action sync, which you can benefit from if you are an esports player. LG 22MK400H is treated with an anti-glare coating and thus reflects less light and glares.

And finally, the build quality. The looks and overall built quality of this monitor, I would say, is okay. It’s not the best-looking monitor, but this model is made for performance, not looks. It has a mini-bezel frame with a thick back and square stand, which supports tilt-only adjustment.
